How it looks
About Bumko
Bumko was made for one specific moment: the bar at a party, with low light, loud music and a line that never stops. There's no time for menus or confirmations there, so every product is a big, colored button. One tap records the sale at list price and takes one unit off the stock. That's it.
What isn't a regular sale is quick too. Pressing and holding a product lets you charge a different price or record a giveaway, with its reason and, if you want, who it went to. If the product has a 2-for-1 set, a separate button takes two units off and charges the deal. And every sale stays on screen for a few seconds so you can undo it if something went wrong.
Every night is an event: it opens with the starting cash and, when you close it, you count the money and Bumko shows how much there should be according to what was recorded, and how much was over or short. The reports show sales, cost and result by day, month or event, the best-selling products and who recorded each sale.
It's built for a team. Whoever creates the bar becomes its administrator and adds their people: staff can only sell, while the administrator loads products, manages stock, opens and closes events and sees the reports. Everyone works on the same data at the same time, from their own phones.

Big buttons, high contrast and nothing to confirm: it's used at night, in a hurry and with one hand. Stock goes down by itself with every sale.
Other prices, giveaways and 2-for-1
Press and hold a product to charge another price or record a giveaway with its reason. The 2-for-1 has its own button and is counted separately in the reports.
Events, cash and reports
Each night opens with its starting cash and closes with the till count. Reports show sales, cost and result by day, month or event.
The whole team at once
Whoever creates the bar is its administrator and adds their people. Staff only sell; the administrator handles stock, events and reports.
Tech specs
Bumko is a real-time collaborative app: several people sell at the same time from the same stock on different phones, with roles, server-side security and a web version sharing the same database.

Firestore Security Rules
Each bar is a closed account: the rules check on the server who is the owner and who is staff, and nobody from another bar can read or write.
In-app account deletion
Deletes the account and its data from the app, as Google Play requires: for the owner it deletes the whole bar in batches, re-authenticating when needed.
