About Cryptaura
Cryptaura is a window into the crypto market in real time. The market list updates live with each pair's price, daily change and volume, and can be sorted by volume, top gainers or top losers.
Open a pair and you get everything a trader looks at: a candlestick chart in several intervals, the order book with depth bars and the spread, and the tape of the latest trades. The book is verified message by message with the checksum the exchange publishes, so what you see is exactly the state of the market.
The same pair is compared across Kraken, Coinbase and Binance: where the best bid is, where the best ask is and how far apart they are.
Coming next: alerts with notifications, a market overview with the Fear & Greed index and the day's headlines, and AI briefs that explain what is happening without ever recommending what to do. Cryptaura is information only: it is not financial advice.

Tech specs
Cryptaura is a real-time data project: the app consumes the exchanges' public WebSockets and keeps an order book verified message by message. The market logic lives in React-free, tested packages, designed to be shared with the serverless backend, which is the next phase.

- Architecture
Checksum-verified order book
Snapshot plus updates, truncation to the subscribed depth and CRC32 verification on every message; on a mismatch it requests a fresh snapshot by itself.
Normalized market model
Each exchange has an adapter to a common model; screens never see any exchange's messages, and adding one means writing an adapter.
Resilient connection
Reconnection with exponential backoff and jitter, stale-connection detection, resubscription, and a single shared connection with reference counting.

Data arrives hundreds of times per second and the UI redraws 2 to 8 times per second, with memoized rows and charts in react-native-svg.
